The footpath renovation project is nearly completed. Derek Fraser and his men have left the grounds. They have done a great job. In the coming months 10 new signs will be placed and, where needed, chicanes will be made that allow easy entry to pedestrians and horses. We always like to receive your comments.

Good News! Killiechonate Woodlands will receive financial assistance under the Agri-Environment Climate Scheme - Improving Public Access. A letter from Scottish Natural heritage confirms what we hoped for: we will receive funding so that footpaths around Spean Bridge can be built or renovated.  The footpaths in Killiechonate Woodlands serve as the "town park" for Spean Bridge in a way the goes beyond the right to roam.  Numerous people walk in the woods every day. Finally we have a new website We wanted to start 2018 well. So we publish our new small website. The website is a great way to read more about what we do. We also have a "blog" where we can post news and where you can comment. We plan to announce the events in the woodlands there too. We also have some useful documents and maps for you.
